BMW is recalling about 130,000 cars fitted with its N54 twin-turbo six-cylinder engine to repair a faulty high-pressure fuel pump. The recall covers the 2007-10 335i; the 2008-10 135i, 535i and X6 xDrive35i, and the 2009-10 Z4 sDrive35i. BMW says about 40,000 of those cars will need a new fuel pump.

Vauxhall has released the first interior pictures of the new sixth-generation Astra, showing that the inside of the five-door hatch has been heavily influenced by the bigger Insignia's. The architecture broadly follows that of the Insignia, with (at least in top-spec models) a high-set sat-nav system, sitting above the audio and air-con controls and flanked by the central air vents. The air vents themselves are more angular than the items you'll find in the Insignia, and the dash itself also appears more upright.
Auctions America by RM enjoyed a successful debut in Las Vegas this past weekend, selling more than $4.1 million worth of vintage motorcycles, with an impressive 82 percent sell-through rate of all lots offered. The event at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino Jan. 12-14 had strong attendance, with thousands of enthusiasts gathering to see 490 motorcycles and a range of bike-related memorabilia cross the auction block.
